FAMILY COUNSELING
Relationships are part of what can make life the most satisfying but can also cause the most distress in someone’s life. Learning how to understand each others needs more, learning how to meet your own needs and the ones of your significant other, or even learning how to increase your social skills can all be parts of therapy.
While we often view a relationship as a relationship with others, we often overlook the relationship we have with ourselves. We often relate things that others do back to ourselves and unknowingly have feelings that cause us to respond in ways that cause us to feel negative about ourselves and resentful about others.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Individual counseling is a great way to work on your own mental health, learn skills to help you gain balance in your life. Some people have had past experiences that stand in their way of developing satisfying relationships they desire. Individual therapy can help you find what you feel is lost and regain the ability to connect with yourself and others around you.
ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
Anxiety is something that most of us can recognize, but when it becomes the feeling that controls your life, it is time to have a professional help you find the coping skills that will reduce your distress. Anxiety affects many different parts of ones’s life. Often people with anxiety have a hard time falling and or staying asleep. Sleep is incredibly important when it comes to having good mental health. When your sleep is off, your moods can be off, you are less resilient to cope with what seems minor to others. Adjusting to new or changing situations becomes harder or even unbearable.
Depression comes in many different layers of severity. While some depression is situational or circumstantial, others experience depression as a constant dark cloud. Whatever your situation is, depression does not have to part of your daily life.
ANGER
Anger can be a quick and big emotion, but can also be a constant feeling. Anger is an emotion any of us can feel, at any age by any gender, in any relationship situation. The expression of anger can damage or even destroy relationships and can be marked by many negative thoughts about self and others. Learning how to control ones emotion is an essential skill in family life, but it also affects professional relationships causing one to miss out on promotions, advancements or other benefits. Don’t let anger run and ruin your life! Learning to understand the cause and some skills to help remediate these stong emotions can help you re(gain) control over your life. Fulfilling relationships are based on respect for self and others, and emotional balanc
CAREER STRESS & PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
One of the most overlooked stressors in life is work related. Adults may have a hard time being vulnerable with their peers about the troubles they experience in their work out of fear of not advancing in their careers. People worry that if they share these concerns and stressors they will seem weak or not capable. Therapy is a safe place to learn what causes you to get stuck or how to cope with office politics and the dynamics of organizational structures. Wanting to progress is a natural human desire, but when lack of progress occurs and you feel stifled, talking it over with someone who can help you see your blind corners so you can develop the talents that are already in you, but you were not able to access.
HI! I'M KIMBERLY
I am glad you are here. I have been in the mental health field as a therapist for 22 years. Time goes by fast when you love what you do! As a therapist I have loved working with families and individuals as they make grow and learn. Often clients look back at their progress and say: “I could not have imagined this kind of progress when I started!” I feel it is a privilege to be part of the growth that people make when they engage in the therapeutic process.
